The Future of Tech: Event by The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership
The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is hosting an event at Leeds Digital Festival called the “Future of Tech”. The event will take place 09:00-13:00 on Tuesday 29 September.
We are delighted to say LEP Chair, Roger Marsh OBE DL, will open the event, and that David Lloyd, General Manager: UK, Netherlands & Nordics, Alibaba Group will be giving the keynote speech. This will be followed by two panel discussions with Kiran Patel, Senior Director at CBBC, and leading international tech companies, including Tuya Smart, LianLian Global, YITU, Dahua, Farnell, and TPP.
In this session we will hear from some of the world’s fastest growing global tech firms, many of which are headquartered in China. They will share their journeys, innovative new approaches, and the opportunities they bring to local UK business.
As we enter the most disruptive decade in human history, new technologies must be embraced and deployed at a far faster rate than previously possible. Many international tech firms will be at the forefront of the global economic recovery as regions across the world look to transform the lives of their residents through new digital solutions. This event will showcase technologies which can benefit society, and highlight the opportunities for businesses presented by international markets and collaboration.
